U.S. Foodservice has made a strategic decision to develop a new deployment team who will be responsible for converting targeted divisions to a new primary operating system for supporting the Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Finance processes. This will involve the migration of targeted divisions currently operating on the P system to an A system process.
Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to act as a change management agent, responsible for the deployment of new business processes and the supporting systems. This will require the assessment of department associates for additional training and support, the review of current business processes and building of both data transition and business process change plans. Assist the Team Manager with maintaining goals and deadlines established for the departments’ conversion. Provide additional pre and post conversion support for department. Effectively communicate changes in process to supported department associates.
Essential functions include:
- Proficiency within Sales is required with the capacity to support the deployment of new systems and new business processes. Additional business knowledge in the areas of Warehousing, Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, or Margin Management is a plus.
- Function as a Subject matter Expert in Sales (Salesman Laptop, Customer Service, Order Guides and Contract Management) to associates and project stakeholders
- Partner directly with divisional department leaders in guiding the development of data conversion, business process conversion and associated training requirements.
- Accountable for timely completion of all deployments within established budgets. Conversation completion will be defined on specific exit criteria. It will also include acknowledgement and clearance from recently converted division prior to starting the next implementation.
- Responsible for change management process implementation while deploying new systems, this will include but is not limited to impact analysis and mitigation plans, end user training, proper documentation and training summaries.
- Provide training to team members in the area of Sales and/or other specific division functions
- Provide primary support to team members in the area of Warehousing, Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, Sales or Margin Management and other specific division functions for changing business systems or business processes
- Proven ability to partner successfully with all levels of the organization and key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage to project goals and expectations by coordinating and effectively distributing tasks among functional area teams.
- Travel is required as a majority of this work will be done at the division that is being converted.

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Business or Business Management or related business experience
Minimum Experience: 5 years in division or field level support within the Sales function. Project management experience and deployment experience is a plus. Working knowledge of the A system Sales process and supporting systems is required additional knowledge of the P system Sales process and supporting systems is desirable.
Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job: End to end knowledge of supported business process for Sales.
Special Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with and influence Senior Management, stakeholders, and associates to compel non-direct reporting associates to contribute projects. Must have the ability to train and clearly articulate complex business processes and technical concepts to audiences with varying degrees of exposure to topic material.
Other: Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong presentation skills are required. Possess good business and decision making skills. Must be self motivated with the capability to motivate others with the functional area that is being changed.
