Job Description

We are seeking an experienced customer focused Delivery Driver to work in a fast paced environment. Driver will deliver food products to our valued customers in a safe, efficient and timely manner. On a daily basis, Driver will report all incorrect shipments, shortages, and product damages to the office. Driver will have an understanding of overall truck functions and DOT requirements.

 

Typically four 4-10 hour shifts with overtime as required workday begins at 5:00 a.m.  This will be a vacation relief position so the shift could change along with occasional out of town driving.  Driver Class A license along with a Doubles Endorsement is required. 

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement preferred
  • Have no DUI convictions or drivers license suspensions in the previous 3 years
  • Have 2 year tractor-trailer or 6 months foodservice delivery experience
  • Able to pass road test and provide verifiable work history
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds safely on routes with multiple stops
  • Able to meet minimum requirements on criminal background and credit check
  • Meet all DOT requirements including passing a physical examination and drug test
  • Must be able to work overtime
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, local area maps, driver handbook procedure manual, invoices and credit memos.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees within the company; basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division knowledge, ability to work with American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
