Job Description

Performing count check of items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded
Performing "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
Driving and delivering customer orders to a predetermined route
Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing the product in the designated customer storage areas
Verifying delivery of items with customer and obtaining proper signatures
Bringing tractor/trailer to fuel island for fueling and appropriate daily service
Unloading damaged goods and customer returns at the driver check in dock and completing necessary paperwork
Cleaning tractor and "red tag" for repair or maintenance as needed
Moving trailer o proper storage area in the yard performing safety check, unhooking trailer, and securing

Maintain DOT logs, company vehicle maintenance reports, and reconcile with the check in clerk as required
Qualifications

A class A CDL
Must meet the DOT medical requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience with a Class A CDL, or 1 year with food service or similar type of background

Successful completion of pre-employment tests
