Job Description
This position will be with the Allentown division servicing the following area:
- Will work closely with chefs and food service managers to sell our extensive line of products
- Travel to existing accounts several times a week to take orders, initiate account penetration efforts, and collect money
- Provide District Managers with weekly target account lists and customer specific issues
- Travel 8-10 hours in personal vehicles calling on existing accounts and cold calling new accounts
- Attend monthly and quarterly sales meetings
- Respond quickly to assess and handle customer issues(this may include weekend and evening calls)
- Build and extensive product knowledge through training and self study
Qualifications
- Food industry sales experience or related culinary experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication, organizational, & CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
- A willingness to plan and work a challenging schedule that focuses on opening new businesses as well as maintaining established accounts
- A working nowledge of MS Office is required
