Job Description

This position will be with the Allentown division servicing the following area: Lancaster , PA

  • Will work closely with chefs and food service managers to sell our extensive line of products
  • Travel to existing accounts several times a week to take orders, initiate account penetration efforts, and collect money
  • Provide District Managers with weekly target account lists and customer specific issues
  • Travel 8-10 hours in personal vehicles calling on existing accounts and cold calling new accounts
  • Attend monthly and quarterly sales meetings
  • Respond quickly to assess and handle customer issues(this may include weekend and evening calls)
  • Build and extensive product knowledge through training and self study
Qualifications
  • Food industry sales experience or related culinary experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, & CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
  • A willingness to plan and work a challenging schedule that focuses on opening new businesses as well as maintaining established accounts
  • A working nowledge of MS Office is required
