Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the sale of the organization’s product in a specified region or major geographical area.  This position oversees the selling of and may also sell the company’s products and services using product, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.  In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing of products and services. 
KEY RESULTS AREAS:

    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and develop increased sales revenue by assisting DSMs and TMs in the region with organizational skills, account strategies, and territory planning.
    • Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner.
    • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers.
    • Research customer needs and develop portfolio of products and services to meet those needs.
    • Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner.
    • Take a Leadership Role through appearance, knowledge, attitude and ethical behavior.
    • Oversee the recruitment, development and training of successful DSMs and TMs.
    • Lead the Division’s commitment to and implementation of Sales Foundations goals.
Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
    • 5 years related experience in foodservice sales and distribution management preferred.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency with laptop and MS Office applications.
    • Working knowledge of Sales Foundations and its components.
    • Knowledge of the Charlotte sales market is preferred.
