Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the Accounting Department’s activity as it relates to general accounting and inventory control
  • Oversees the monthly financial close of the books
  • Maintains accurate financial period reporting to management and Corporate office
  • Ensures the integrity of financial data by reviewing BS and P&L and addressing issues in a timely manner
  • Ensures compliance of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Ensures compliance of Division, Regional and Corporate policies and procedures
  • Assists VP of Finance in preparing the divisional budget, mid-year re-projections and the annual tax package
  • Provide financial analysis on various projects
  • Willing to cross train and assume additional responsibilities as needed
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality required
  • Work hours will vary depending on operational needs
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4 to 5 years of related experience, foodservice or food industry background preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, GAAP
  • Results and detail oriented; must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical ability and proven ability to lead project teams through to completion
  • Proficient with computer software programs including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
