- Successfully complete 1 month of training program to include:
Certification/Operation of powered pallet jack. Picking/Selecting process. Safety Awareness & Policies. Warehouse Department Protocol Orientation, Stretch Wrap Operation. Perfect attendance and satisfactory Performance Weekly Evaluation. Successful candidate will then be evaluated for actual Leadsman position as indicated below:
- Must be Present one hour prior to start of shift
- Must conduct 5 minute safety meetings daily before start of shift
- Will be responsible for all new hire and refresher training
- Will maintain work flow during shift to assure all work is completed on time
- Other-Performs other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor
- Leadsmen are expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to read and write. Must have excellent communication skills; HS Degree is preferred for position, Interact with Internal/External Customers, Product Handling, Show consistent work stability and attendance.
Physical requirements:
The Leadsman position is a manual handling, labor-intensive job. Considerable strength, endurance and accuracy are required to safely and successfully perform this job. These strength and endurance demands are due to the weight of the merchandise handled and the frequency with which it is handled. The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where the worker is exposed to very cold temperatures.
