Job Description

Summary:  To support street Territory Managers through select sales administration, service and support functions in order to maximize selling time for assigned Territory Managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Resolve payment discrepancies
  • Credit memos
  • New item set-up
  • Handle hot-shot request, pick up request, and sample request
  • Special Orders
  • Call out or call in customers on as needed basis for assigned TM’s while handling regularly assigned customers
  • Follow up on any necessary in-house issues for assigned TMs
  • Telemarketing to set appointments for assigned territory managers
  • Telemarketing new and discontinued items to assigned customers
  • Handle any direct mail marketing as needed
  • Manage order guides and customer inventory
  • Vacation/Personal day in-office coverage for assigned TMs as available and required
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in outside sales.
  • Knowledgeable with computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Lotus.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Excellent communication skills. Project management with proven organizational/time management skills. 
  • Capable of working independently, team player and able to multi-task. 

Preferred:

  • Foodservice/beverage industry experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in foodservice sales.
