Job Description

The Delivery Driver position is a manual handling, labor intensive job.  Considerable strength and endurance demands are due to the weight of the merchandise handled and the frequency with which it is handled.  Delivery Drivers work closely with customers.  Must have a Class A CDL.  Must have 1 year Over the Road or 6 months food delivery experience.

Qualifications

The Delivery Driver will have from 15 to 30 delivery stops each work-shift.  They must off-load the merchandise at the customer’s locations and move it into the building.  This is done by manually loading the merchandise onto a two-wheeler then rolling it off the truck and into the building.  They will occasionally have to remove merchandise from the customer’s location and return it to the warehouse.  The Driver will, upon returning to the warehouse, remove the merchandise, which was undeliverable.
