DELIVERY DRIVER – CDL Class A – ARLINGTON

Description:           

  • Drives truck to deliver products.
  • Records delivery information on daily basis.
  • Collects money from customers and makes change and records transactions on customer receipt.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pick-up or delivery.
  • Loads and unloads truck at delivery.
  • Informs regular customers of new products or services.

 

Functions:               

  • Must possess a valid Class A driver license
  • 2 years OTR driving experience or one year foodservice delivery experience
  • Good driving record. (No D.U.I.)
  • Must be experienced with doubles.
  • Hand truck operation, going up and down a ramp.
  • Good communication skills are needed (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain customer and co-work relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain records
  • Exposure to freezer/cooler environments.

 

   The physical demands of the job require bending, standing, stooping, pulling and lifting.  Qualified applicants must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Qualifications

Schedule:                             Start time varies from 4:00 am to 6:00 am
                                                Most days are 10 hours, 4 days a week
                                                Two 15 minute breaks
                                                30 minute lunch
