Coordinates all aspects of order selection, including food and/or related items.
Accurately and safely selects and loads products, materials and items from racks, shelves and bins according to predetermined sequence to meet established production standards.
Selects perishable goods from refrigerated room and freezer.
Assembles orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
Moves products, materials and items from storage or other designated areas to shipping dock.
Must select products efficiently, safely, error and damage free while maintain productivity and sanitation guidelines.
Exposure to freezer/cooler environments
Six months warehouse experience is required, preferably in foodservice distribution
Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs required
Must be a team player, well-organized and be detailed oriented
Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain co-worker relationships
Ability to read and follow directions
Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 pm to 3:00 am, alternating Fridays. Probable overtime.
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking: estimated 8 hours
Lifting and carrying: 100-lbs. maximum, 65-lbs average
Ability to withstand cool temperatures
