Oversight of all transportation-related functions to include:

Develop and manage the execution of customer--focused transportation strategies.
Identify inefficiencies within the transportation network and assume project lead to coordinate improvement among cross-functional departments.
Development of cost and process improvement programs on an ongoing basis.
Establish a meet/exceed department goal and objective program.
Quarterly financial reviews with department Vice President.
Oversee and coordinate safety-related programs and reporting requirements.
Insure compliance with all FMCSR, Safety, State, and DOT regulations, and company policy.
Train and develop staff.
Provide multiple levels of support to Operations team.
Research and resolve issues to develop long-term resolutions.
Coordinate customer routing efforts with sales staff to ensure profitability.
Administer driver incentive program.
Additional tasks as require.
