U.S. Foodservice
Enriching Community Engagement

U.S. Foodservice aims to be a positive force in the lives of our associates and the outside stakeholders that are touched by our business.

We place a priority on constructive dialogue around the concerns and opinions of our customers, suppliers, local communities and associates. This includes ongoing discussions that enrich our understanding of diverse stakeholder needs and perspectives. Our goal is shared understanding, improved collaboration, and innovative approaches that increase our collective responsibility and sustainability.

Here are some of the ways in which we serve our internal and external communities:

  • All associates participate in annual or semi-annual ethics training to foster a culture of ethical business practice, so we maintain the highest ethical standards in our everyday business decisions
  • All associates are encouraged to be change agents and learn more about corporate responsibility and sustainability at our internal portal site, called the CRS reSource.
  • Our USF Cares fund assists associates in times of critical need, whether it involves circumstances that are strictly personal in nature, or broader disasters like Hurricane Katrina.
  • We entered a nationwide partnership with America's Second Harvest, and engaged in a Thanksgiving food drive.
  • USF supports a wide variety of community programs in more than seventy divisions from supporting local food banks to partnering with special needs summer camps. Our divisions provide support in the form of volunteerism, product donations and financial contributions.
  • Our Office of Diversity and Inclusion reports directly to our President and encourages our divisions to respect and value all our customers, associates, and suppliers.
