When U.S. Foodservice makes a decision to recall a food product, either because of a known food safety issue or just as an extra precaution,
it is our highest priority. Quite simply, nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and the quality of the products we provide.
U.S. Foodservice recall policies and procedures were developed to meet and exceed government guidelines. They ensure immediate and
effective action when products need to be removed from the market.
Recall procedures are coordinated from the Support Offices in cooperation with customers, suppliers and government health agencies.
All operating divisions have their own recall teams that work directly with their leadership and the support office.
